We Are
Nauvillus.
Raising environmental and cultural awareness through repurposed waste.

Our jewelry starts with what others might throw away. We see potential in discarded materials, turning them into something worth treasuring. Each piece is designed with the planet in mind — from the way we source our materials to how we craft them. Drawing inspiration from elements of Korean traditional crafts, we reimagine them into modern, wearable art that fits today’s style. The result is jewelry that’s both fashionable and sustainable, telling a story of transformation — not just of the materials themselves, but of how we choose to value what’s around us.

Our
Story
Get to Know Us
“Nauvilus” is a student-led brand that aims to transform traditional Korean craft into modern, eco-friendly jewelry. Inspired by Najeonchilgi, the traditional Korean mother-of-pearl, natural minerals, and discarded shells are upcycled to make designs that double in honoring Korean heritage and promote environmental sustainability. Founded by a team of SFHS student innovators, we aim to blend history, design, and environmental science to preserve and revitalize Najeonchilgi craft.
